Dragons (29) vs Warriors (18)

The Dragons climb over .500 with a win over improving Warriors.

The Dragons returned from their bye week and faced a Warriors team seeking their first non forfeit win. The Warriors took their opening drive to the endzone, when QB Dave F. tore off a 50 yard TD run. The Dragons would answer on their next two posessions when Dragons QB Mark C. connected with Jared D. and Dave P. The Warriors would respond with a touchdown by Chris J. but late scores by Jared D. would put the Dragons ahead, 29-12 at halftime. In the second half, the Warriors defense tightened up as they held the Dragons scoreless. Dave F. would add another touchdown run but it was not enough as the Dragons would hold on for the win, 29-18. Sherley L., and Ian J. had multiple catches for the Warriors. Rookies Christine B. and Mark H. for the Dragons each had multiple catches in the game.

Heat (7) vs. America (48)

Team America gets their first win in four games over struggling Heat.

Team America bounced back from their loss to the Bar by defeating a slumping Heat. From the onset, Team America showed signs of life. Team America scored on all their drives in the first half as Sean C., Matt F., and Mike P. all had TD receptions. Standout rookie for the Heat Kevin F. had a nice 50 yard touchdown catch. Females would be the key to this game as the Heat had no female in the first half, while their females gave support to Team America. Bob D. Would throw a total of 7 TD passes to 6 different players in the 48-7 Victory. Chris C. and Scott C. both had touchdowns. Raffee C., Elijah B., and Lavelle T. led support to the Heat.

Patriots (13) vs. SBD (25)

SBD defeats the league's number one defensive team.

In a defensive struggle, SBD held off offensive surges by the Patriots to capture the victory. The Patriots scored on their first drive when Tim M. would find the endzone on a 30 yard reception. The next three Patriots drives would by stopped on three downs. SBD scored on their third and fifth possesions when JD would find the endzone twice to give SBD a 12-6 halftime lead. The Patriots opened the second half by regaining the lead when QB Hank B. connected with Justin H. TJ would add the extra point for a 13-12 lead. SBD would answer on JD's third touchdown of the day. SBD defense would hold off multiple surges by the Patriots in the 25-13 victory. Kira D. and Chris M. had multiple catch games for SBD. TJ, Kyle P. and Tara O. were the leading receivers for the Patriots.

F&F (14) vs. Ravens (13)

Return of UMPR offensive MVP Herb Brown can't get Ravens first win.


F & F broke a three game UMPR losing streak by beating a Ravens squad that is regrouping. The Ravens added one time Offensive MVP Herb B. to the lineup. With some new players, Herb B. controlled the Ravens offense. F & F was missing many of their starters. Shadeed "Cheze" and Mike L. stepped in at QB. Both teams struggled in the first half with turnovers. Mona J. scored the only TD of the first half when she darted for a 20 yard touchdown. In the second half, Herb B. threw his first TD of the season when he found Rasheen G. in the endzone. F & F would answer with a TD reception by Ben J. to gain the 14-7 lead. The Ravens played tough defense and added six points when Tim B. scored a touchdown. With under 30 seconds in the game, Herb B. led the Ravens to the three yard line and had two plays to score. Both plays failed as the receivers could not stay in bounds. Moffett, Ashley, and Derek had standout plays for F & F. Xavier, Rae'ven, and Ron V. fueled the Ravens.

Niners (32) vs.  Stallions (34)

Stallions give the Niners their first loss of the season.


Stallions defeat the Niners 34-32. Both teams had their offenses in full gear. QBs Scott M. and Clarence R. found time to distribute the ball to all their weapons. The Niners would score first when Casey P. hauled in a TD pass. Eric "T.O" would answer for the Stallions on a 60 yard bomb. Each team would exchange TDs as Bill P. and Erik M. scored for the Niners. The Stallions Andre J. and Mark E. would answer to give the Stallions a 21-20 halftime lead. In the second half, the Niners regained the lead after a 25 yard TD reception by Ryan K., but a missed two point conversion attempt left their lead at 26-20. The Stallions took the lead again to make the score 28-26. With under a minute remaining, the Niners had a chance to end the game in a tie but missed the two point conversion. Nate R., Bill P. and Gene helped the Niners. Jamilla P. and Casey P. were the leading receivers for each team.
