Patriots (12) vs. F&F (12)

Reigning UMPR MVP David J. opened the fall season as starting QB for the Patriots to face his former team and league champion F&F. In a very tight defensive game, F&F tied the score on the last play of regulation to end game in a 12-12 tie. Despite playing without a female player, F&F forced multiple turnovers. The Patriots scored the first points of the game with a TD reception by former Heat WR Rafee C. After two Kyle P. interceptions, Lauren C. scored the first female touchdown of the season to make the halftime score 12-0. In the second half, the Patriots were forced to punt several times. Brandon J. returned an interception for a score and Joshua J. threw the game tying TD pass. F&F could not convert the extra point attempt and the game ended in a 12-12 tie.

 

Team America (40) vs. Green Machine (0)

With a new QB and new look, Team America jumped out to fast start this season with dominant 40-0 victory over new UMPR franchise, Green Machine. Team America QB Alex P. threw four touchdown passes, one each to veterans Danielle S., and Bob D. Although down 20-0 at halftime, the Green Machine did force two turnovers with interceptions by Vince M. and Eric S. New team America receivers Bryan M. and Mark L. also had touchdown receptions in the game. Sean C. returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the victory.

 

Bar (21) vs. Ravens (6)

Former UMPR champion the Bar kicked off the Fall 2011 with 21-6 defeat of the Ravens. In the offseason, the Ravens franchise acquired UMPR veterans Ryan K. from the Niners, Tara O. from the Patriots, and Kevin F. from the Heat. With Chuck "Viper" D. now the starting QB for the Bar, they have aspirations to recapture the Championship. After each team failed to convert their first offensive series, The Bar scored the first points of the game when Chuck D. connected with rookie Josh H. on a touchdown catch. The Ravens would answer right back when former 49er, Scott M., threw his first touchdown as a Raven to former Dragon Jeff V. A missed extra point by the Ravens would leave them trailing 6-7 at halftime. In the second half, the bar scored on their first possession when Laura "Chica" L. threw her first career touchdown pass to Chuck D. The Bar's defense.would seal up the game when Sean Dh. and Sean Do. would each snatch interceptions. Sean "Fastest Man" Do. returned hisinterception for the last score of the game. Tara O. for the Ravens had multiple catch game.

 

Saints (40) vs. Ex-Presidents (20)

Two new franchises with familar players faced off when the Saints defeated the Ex-Presidents 40-20. The Ex-Presidents scored first when Jackson found the endzone. The Saints, led by former Dragon Mark C., jumped to a 19-13 lead, fueled by two Jared B. touchdowns. The Presidents, who have several 49ers from last season, played solid defense with three interceptions, including a return for a touchdown by Granford R. Truman added a touchdown for the Presidents but Jared B., Tugga, and LRB had second half scores for the Saints. Russ D. and Smoked for the Saints each had interceptions.

 

Ravens (21) vs. Dragons (18)

The Ravens secured their first franchise win over another revamped team, the Dragons in 21-18 Victory. In a game that had several lead changes, the Ravens held on for the win in the scond game of their double header. The Dragons now helmed by Stacey M. at QB were able to score points in the first half. The Ravens scored first When Scott M. found veteren Rasheen G.in the endzone. The Dragons answered back late in the first Half when Stacey M. found the endzone on 30 yard touchdown run to trail 6-7 at halftime. The Dragons would take their first lead of the game on their next possession when Loretta P. hauled in herfirst career touchdown. Former Heat player and standout rookie from last year, Kevin F. would prove to be the difference maker when he would score the next two touchdowns for the Ravens. The first score by Kevin was a 60 yard screen pass in which he avoided several defenders. The second score by Kevin erased a 18-14 lead that Fred S. the Dragons on a five yard touchdown. Raven captain Ryan K. added the extra point to secure the victory.

 

SBD (27) vs. Stallions (6)

Two former UMPR champions with a deep history faced off in the last game of day. In a game in which they never trailed, SBD defeated the Stallions 27-6. Clarence R. returned to QB the stallions, but with several veteran player not returning, the Stallions will the play the Fall 2011 season with role players and rookies. SBD WR Mathew H. had career day as he hauled inthree touchdown catches. His two touchdowns in the first half gave SBD a 15-7 lead. Christopher G. caught his first touchdown of the season for the Stallions. SBD kept the pressure on the Stallions all day as Matt W. had five sacks and  the defense forced two interceptions. In the second half Chris S. returned a punt for a touchdown and Matheuw score his third  touchdown of the day. Rookie Wayne H. had an interception for the Stallions.
