The award season has officially begun. Awards for individual players are based on the criteria below. Please remember that all players are still eligible for awards even though their season may be over. All team captains were asked to nominate one player for each category, and may not nominate players from their own team.

Criteria for tabulating award winners:

  • Male League MVP -  Flat out the best all around male player in the league.
  • Female League MVP -  Flat out the best female all around player in the league.
  • Male League Defensive MVP - The male who is committed to defense and plays it at a superior level.
  • Female League Defensive MVP  - The female who is committed to defense and plays it at a superior level.
  • Male Rookie of the Year  - The best all around first season male player.
  • Female Rookie of the Year - The best all around first season female player.
  • Male Wide Receiver (Best Hands Awards) - The Best Male receiver in the league
  • Female Wide Receiver (Best Hands Awards) - The Best Female receiver in the league
  • Male Tight End Award (Tough) - The male who exemplifies toughness and dependability in short yardage situations as a possession receiver.
  • Female Tight End Award (Tough) - The female who exemplifies toughness and dependability in short yardage situations as a possession receiver.
  • Male Rusher Award - This person has one job and one job only! The male who is best at chasing the quarterback relentlessly and is proud to to do so from a game changing position.
  • Female Rusher Award - This person has one job and one job only! The male who is best at chasing the quarterback relentlessly and is proud to to do so from a game changing position.
  • Male Most Improved - This male player has shown visible improvement from the beginning of the season to the end or from the previous season to the current season.  A possible up and coming STAR!
  • Female Most Improved - This female player has shown visible improvement from the beginning of the season to the end or from the previous season to the current season.  A possible up and coming STAR!

NON VOTING AWARDS

  • Coach of The Year - Whether it be coaching from the sidelines or coaching while playing in the game this male player strategizes and put players where they need to be while developing schemes that are effective.
  • GM of The Year - This individual brings players to his or her team that make a difference.  Always looking for an edge whether it be by recruiting new players to the league that can get the job done or collaborating with current players.  This individual is determined to build a competitive roster position by position.
